I'm head of research projects in the Library of National Congress of Chile (BCN), member of WESO Research Group of the University of Oviedo, and currently PhD Student in the same university, focusing my research in political and legislative analysis using "Semantic Technologies", which I define as the union of two fields of computer sience: Semantic Web and Text Mining.
I born in Puente Alto, Santiago de Chile, the most populated commune in the country. In 2006 I've got a computer science degree and engineering in the Universidad of La Frontera and then, since 2009 to 2011 I've done the Master in Web Engineering of the University of Oviedo, due I've granted a scholarship by the Fundación Carolina.
My Master thesis was adviced by Jose Emilio Labra Gayo (who is currently my PhD advisor) developing the first Chilean Linked Open Data portal datos.bcn.cl. Since then, I work at BCN in Semantic Web and innovation projects.
Currently I live at Viña del Mar, one of the most beautiful cities in Chile, with my wife Karina and my daughters Fernanda and Magdalena.
